A crispy, cheesy sandwich with a creamy tuna filling!
Ingredients:
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped celery or pickles (optional)
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or whole wheat)
- 4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting)
Instructions:
Make the Tuna Salad:
- Mix tuna, mayo, mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and celery.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Spread tuna salad on a slice of bread.
- Top with cheese and another slice of bread.
Toast & Serve:
- Butter the outside and cook in a skillet over medium heat, 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and melty.
