Meatball Subs πŸ₯–πŸ§€

Easy, cheesy, and loaded with saucy meatballs—great for a quick dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag frozen meatballs (about 20 meatballs)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting rolls)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Meatballs & Sauce:

    • In a large saucepan, add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    • Add frozen meatballs and simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Toast the Rolls:

    • Butter the inside of each hoagie roll and toast in a skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  3. Assemble the Subs:

    • Place 5 meatballs in each hoagie roll.
    • Spoon extra sauce over the top.
    • Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Melt the Cheese:

    • Place the subs on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  5. Serve & Enjoy:

    • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and enjoy your meatball sub!
