Meatball Subs π₯π§
Easy, cheesy, and loaded with saucy meatballs—great for a quick dinner!
Ingredients:
- 1 bag frozen meatballs (about 20 meatballs)
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting rolls)
Instructions:
Heat the Meatballs & Sauce:
- In a large saucepan, add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add frozen meatballs and simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Toast the Rolls:
- Butter the inside of each hoagie roll and toast in a skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Assemble the Subs:
- Place 5 meatballs in each hoagie roll.
- Spoon extra sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Melt the Cheese:
- Place the subs on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
Serve & Enjoy:
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and enjoy your meatball sub!

✔ For Sausage & Peppers: Serve with garlic bread or pasta.
✔ For Meatball Subs: Pair with a side salad or fries.
✔ Make it spicy by adding crushed red pepper or hot sauce!
