 Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars

Ingredients:

- 1 cup butter, softened

- 1 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup milk

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup chocolate chips

For the Chocolate Coating:

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

Directions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

2. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

3. Gradually add in the flour and salt, stirring until a smooth dough forms.

4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

5. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the cookie dough evenly into the pan. Smooth out the top.

6. Place the dish in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until firm.

7. Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil (or butter) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

8. Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled cookie dough and spread evenly.

9. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top for decoration.

10. Return the dish to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.

11. Once firm, remove from the dish, cut into bars, and enjoy!
