Garlic Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small ones)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup chicken broth (or white wine for extra flavor)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Sear the Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter to the same skillet.
- Once melted, add the minced garlic and sautΓ© for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth (or white wine) and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in the lemon juice (if using) and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Combine & Serve:
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it.
- Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
